Apple and Cinnamon Porridge

A quick comforting bowl of apple, cinnamon and sultana porridge.

  • microwave
  • 50 g oats
  • 300 ml water or milk
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 small red apple
  • 15 g sultanas
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  1. In a cereal bowl, add the 50g porridge, 1.5tsp of cinnamon and 300ml of water (or milk). Stir and cook in a microwave for 3.5 minutes on high, stirring halfway through.

  2. Meanwhile, roughly chop the apple into bitesize pieces.

  3. Remove the porridge from the microwave and top with the apple pieces, sultanas, maple syrup and remaining 1/2tsp of cinnamon.
